With every autumn stay, we're including a complimentary 20cl bottle of 1881 Gin from our very own distillery, based in Peebles Hydro Hotel in the Scottish Borders. Our award-winning gins can be enjoyed across all of our bars and restaurants in the Family of Hotels, whether you enjoy a London Dry, or something more fruity - there is a gin for every tastebud.
Did you know 1881 Distillery is home to the UK's largest domestic gin school? Join us on the ultimate Gin Distiller Experience, an immersive three-hour masterclass in the captivating setting of our distillery at Peebles Hydro Hotel. We'll welcome you with an 1881 G&T before we dive into the history of the hotel and gin itself. Then, you'll take to your mini-still to craft your own gin recipe using our wide range of botanicals, and whilst its distilling, we'll take you on a tour of our distillery. Finally, you'll get creative by designing your own bottle label, and you'll have a 70cl bottle of gin to take home - delicious.
